Same family as the Hammer On, the Pull Off Technique will be used on descending notes. It’s a quite useful technique that will make you gain Fluidity, Speed and Accuracy. Let me show you an example of Pull Off on two notes.


In this example the first note (D) will be played with a Down-Stroke followed by the C note played with the Pull Off. Usually when you read the Tab, the Pull off will be indicated with the Tight Symbol as well as a little P below the Tab.
On the second bar, same technique applied on a different note. The First note (G) played with the Down-Stroke followed by the F note played with the Pull Off!
