Hey guys, I hope you are having a fantastic weekend.
Today I want to show you five awesome arpeggio shapes on guitar and how to actually play them.
An arpeggio is a chord broken down into single notes.
When I stum a C major chord I am playing the notes of the chords simultaneously. But if I play the notes one at a time we have an arpeggio.
There are three things you should know about guitar arpeggios:
- They are great for developing your technique and musicality.
- There are a ton of different shapes and inversions.
- They can be played to outline the note of a chord.
Let me show you some of my favorite arpeggios and how to play them.
Each guitar arpeggio has a melodic example that you can practice.
Enjoy this lesson.
