Hi Guys,
I am very happy to open the admissions for this guitar workshop on Sunday the 22nd May 2016.
I have been thinking about this for long time. After years of teaching all of you guys I realized that the next step would be to meet all together for a great workshop on Acoustic Guitar. I have been attending many seminars during the past two years and I have collected a lot of material that I would love to share with you. Lessons that I have rearranged specifically for this seminar.
Below you will find all the info about this workshop, why you should come and what you will learn.
Workshop: Practical Fingerstyle: How to easily get your fingers under control!

The program.
Warm up: 16:30 to 17:00 – We will warm up using a great exercise. A blend of mechanical patterns, stretch and alternate fingering. This exercise can be performed on three different levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.
Fingerstyle Chords: 17:00 to 18:00 – In this hour you will learn how to implement fingerstyle on what I call “Fingerstyle Chords”. You will learn how to visualize chords in a different and useful way. We will use the most common rhythmic and plucking patterns.
Fingerstyle is a creative technique. Learn how to use it, and you will be able to transform basic chord progression into beautiful pieces of music. At the end of this hour you will have a wider vision on chords and fingerstyle.
“Fingerstyle Chords” can be used in a creative way such as composing and rearranging pieces.
I will also answer the three common questions I get asked the most: 1) Which finger I pluck the strings with 2) What’s the best right hand position 3) Common mistakes and bad habits.
Songs: 18:00 to 19:00 – In this hour we will learn how to play a song in fingerstyle. I will bring two options. One simple song in fingerstyle and one a little bit more challenging in chord melody (where the melody of the song in within the guitar part). We will decide on the day which one to learn.
End of the seminar – 19:00
Evening
After the workshop we could all go for a pint together. That would be great!
Who can attend the workshop?
This event is suitable for beginners-intermediate guitar players. If you are one of my student please feel free to contact me to discuss whether you are suitable or not. The exercises are challenging enough but not impossible. I have meticulously organize all the material so that you can learn something from each exercise without feeling overwhelmed.
A blend of social and challenge.
- Social event: Share your experience with other guitar players like you. You could be called on stage to share your experience, learn how other students plan their daily routine, meet interesting people and have fun.
- Challenge (For me and you): I am relentless. I always try to improve myself and the service I provide. I know how important it is for students to talk and share so I have worked hard to create such event. It is a challenge for you to. I know how difficult it is for some of you to play with other people around. We feel shy and under pressure. The one thing you can do to change this fear into determination is to actually go out there and play. It is that simple. Don’t be scared and take the challenge, you will be fine.
Make sure you reserve your seat.
