Pumping Fingers (What an original name !!!) is a powerful exercise based on symmetrical patterns. In the Stage 1, you will be learning the exercise on one string. Let’s start with the first pattern which it will be the 1234 combination. Check out the tab to learn the exercise.
Pumping Fingers Warm Up Exercise Stage 1 Video Tutorial
This is the tab for the Warm Up Exercise. Remember, in order to gain benefit from this exercise you must:
- Practice the exercise slowly.
- Keep the Thumb straight down behind the neck.
- Hold fingers down.
- Reduce Fingers movement.
- Use Alternate Picking.
- Use Palm Muting when you practice with Overdrive/Distorted Sound
Practice the exercise with the other 23 combinations. Improve finger muscle, coordination and pick attack.
