Hey guys, I hope you are having a fantastic day. Today I am going to show you how to play a beautiful Spanish chord progression combined with melody. The goal is to learn how to change between chords and melodies fluently.
Few important things about this exercise:
- The chord progression is straightforward. However, you will have to learn the dreadful F major chord which will be played with a bar chord on fret I.
- The fingerpicking pattern is in “three,” meaning we will be playing triplets. There are two different patterns to learn.
- I wrote the simple melody using two different scales: The A minor scale and A harmonic minor scale.
Take things step-by-step and learn the fingerpicking pattern on one chord before moving on to the next -chord.
