Hey, guys let me show you how to combine chords and melody on guitar. In this fingerstyle lesson, I am going to show you how important it can be to structure your exercise.
When you want to combine chords and melody, the very first step is to decide where the melody will be played. In this exercise, we are going to play chords in sextuplets, followed by a simple melody. I will keep the same structure throughout the entire exercise (there are just one or two exceptions).
Structuring the exercise is beneficial. Without it, you will just noddle few notes before getting bored or demotivated. We are going to start with a few notes before moving on to something more complex.
