Hey guys, welcome to another guitar lesson. Today, I want to show you how to play a captivating Spanish guitar strumming technique called rasgueado.
The rasqueado is a flamenco technique very similar to the strumming. The only difference though, is that with the rasqueado we strum with multiple fingers.
In this guitar lesson, I am going to show you the rasqueado triplet played with the ring, middle, and index finger (ami rasqueado). Using the three fingers in sequence will give you a fantastic rhythmic effect that sounds like three quick strums.
The Spanish chord progression you will learn in this lesson is the popular i VII VI V. The chords are Bm, A, G, and F#.
Chords, melody, strumming technique, and more musical elements all combined in one song.
Enjoy!
